If you have a sweet tooth like me... then these chocolate chip cookies will do the trick!
*Followed from a recipe, but made my own tweaks*
✨Siera Suggests - leave the cookie batter in the fridge for a minimum of half hour to create EVEN MORE DELICIOUS COOKIES!
🌹1/2 cup vegan butter ( I used becel)
🌹 1 cup of brown sugar
🌹 1/4 cup granulated sugar
🌹 1/4 cup of milk
🌹 2 tsp vanilla extract
🌹 1 + 3/4 cup flour (you can use all purpose flour, I used almond flour and sometimes coconut flour if I ran out)
🌹 1 tsp of baking soda
🌹 1/2 tsp sea salt
🌹 Chocolate chips (quantity up to you)
How to Create:
🌹 Add vegan butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar to a large bowl. Using a mixer or a whisk cream the butter and sugar together just until combined (about 1-2 minutes). Add the plant-based milk and vanilla extract. Mix together again to combine.
🌹Add the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt to the bowl. Fold the ingredients together until evenly combined. Then, mix in the chocolate chips.
🌹Throw batter in a reusable container with a lid and place in the refrigerator to chill for at least 30 minutes.
🌹 Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
🌹 Scoop the cookie dough into balls and transfer to the baking sheet. (BE CAREFUL OF DISTANCE! THEY SPREAD!)
🌹Bake cookies for 11-14 minutes on the middle rack in your oven. Remove cookies from the oven while they still appear slightly under-baked. Once you remove them from the oven, let the cookies rest for 5 minutes on the baking sheet. They will firm up and de-puff while cooling
